Profit & Loss

Select the financial statement you are looking for by the navigation top left.

Periodic

The first tab of the P&L will display all Actuals, organised as you have configured in Structure. Expand or collapse classes by the small blue arrow on the left hand side. Total rows are displayed in blue. Select your timeframe (Year-to-date [YTD], Last-12-months [LTM] or All) top right. Use the calendar to set a custom timeframe. Use the dropdown to change the periods between Month, Quarter, Year.

Entities

The second tab of the P&L will display the same Actuals, now grouped by Entity (company) instead of per period. Intercompany Eliminations will be visible in the “Elim.”- column. It is possible to drill-down to the underlying numbers as in the other tabs.

Forecast

The third tab of the P&L will display a Forecast scenario. Select the scenario using the drop-down top right next to the timeframe selectors. Apart from the actuals in different periods, the configured scenario will be displayed, including a delta column.

Analysis

The forth tab of the P&L will display Analysis. Select the type of analysis (1) Actuals vs actuals or (2) Actuals vs budgets top right.

Option (1) will show two periods side by side, including the absolute and relative delta. Select the two periods P1 and P2 top right. Be aware the delta will be calculated P2-P1 so ideally your P1 happens after P2.

Option (2) will show a period compared to a scenario, including the absolute and relative delta and the year-to-date (YTD) values. Select both the period and the scenario top right.

Note that descriptions and comments from the side panel on this page will be stored on the reference period.
