On this tab you can configure intercompany eliminations. Finstack offers three types of eliminations:
(1) Eliminate fully
This will fully eliminate the GLA and its underlying transactions.
(2) Eliminate IC relations
This will eliminate the transactions within the GLA that belong to relations that have been indicated as being intercompany.
(3) Eliminate per transaction
This will eliminate only the transactions that are manually selected by the user.

In the Intercompany table, you will find the chart of accounts. When selecting a GLA, the side panel on the right will display the underlying transactions. Use the calendar to narrow down to a specific timeframe.
In the side panel, also define the Counter-entity to make sure that just that share of eliminations relevant to your selection is included when using the Entity filter in Reporting. So for example when you filter on just Entity A & B, IC eliminations between A & C will not be shown as this is not included in your filter selection.
In order to use elimination type (2), make sure to first configure the IC relations. Find these in Setup > Admin > Intercompany relations. For every Entity, select their respective intercompany counterparts from the list of Relations using the dropdown.
Don’t forget to store your configuration using the “Save” button at the bottom of the page.
Browse to the “Transactions” tab via Finance > Entries to see all transactions, including eliminations. Note that the system will create Entities denoted with the prefix “[IC]” to hold elimination entries. Use the Entities dropdown in the Filter component to select these.
On the left hand side, find the IC transactions by period. Select an row to see the entry details in the side panel on the right hand side.
In Reporting, you will find a switch (top right) to turn Intercompany eliminations on and off. Also in the tab By company you will find the Intercompany eliminations in a separate column.
