On this page it is possible to connect Finstack to your accounting software or to load static entities through a file upload.
Use the “Add source” button top right to initiate the connection wizard. When you visit this page for the first time, you are asked to accept the terms and conditions. Understand what access you are providing to Finstack. After, select the accountancy software you want to connect. You will be redirected to your accounting software, need to provide credentials (login) and authorise Finstack. Afterwards the connection is setup! When there are no errors, your transactions will be loaded in the background. This can take a bit of time, depending on the amount of transactions.

<aside> 🚨 Warning: please make sure you are logged into the correct account in your accounting software. Especially if you own multiple accounts, prevent importing the wrong data. Enforce this by first logging out of your accounting software before connecting Finstack.

Use the “+” button bottom right to initiate the connection wizard. In step 1, select “Import from Excel sheet”. Use the “< Back” button to go back to the overview. In step 2, decide on a name for the entity and press the “Add entity” button. Browse to the XLSX file on your computer and press “Open”. The system will load the transactions from the static file. The template can be found below.
The status of the connection is indicated top center and should be green and “Available”. If otherwise, the connection is facing problems. You can try to reconnect using the dropdown on the right and selecting “Reconnect”. ****If issues persist, please reach out to Finstack support.
We will sync your data with your accounting software every 3 hours. It is possible to trigger a manual refresh by pressing the “Start import” button top right. This will retrieve the newest transactions (most real-time).
